155 in February to 165 in April!

I really hit the jackpot with Van! Before finding Van I was skeptical of tutors, and certain that I would be able to manage the LSAT on my own. But as a nontraditional student, and one suffering from test-taking anxiety, I had not had much luck self-studying with PowerScore, The LSAT Trainer and 7Sage. Although I was struggling on all three sections, my biggest Achilles heel was Logic Games. Common wisdom is that it is easiest to improve on Games, but no matter what I tried I just couldn’t seem to get better at them.

Not surprisingly, the February 2021 LSAT, my first time taking the test, did not go well, and afterwards I knew I faced a choice: either get help and keep trying, or give up on going to law school for good. It was then that I finally decided to look for a tutor, and what an incredible stroke of luck it was to find Van!

Calm, professional, and unbelievably patient, Van pointed me in the direction of help for my anxiety issues, and cheerfully spent hour upon hour – be it in her invaluable classes or in private session –breaking down the Games in such a way that, within a month, LG had begun to feel like an old friend.

I can say with all sincerity that the 10-point increase in my score from February to April is entirely thanks to Van’s expert tutelage, and unfailing encouragement.
